Koh Chang is an island in the far east of the Gulf of Thailand, just around 180 miles east of Bangkok. Travelers can reach the island in under an hour from Bangkok by plane to Trat Airport. From the airport, the island is connected via a 30-minute ferry ride from the mainland.
